public policy center dedicated to the living legacy of former California
Governor Edmund G. "Pat" Brown. The Institute is committed

dedicated to ensuring excellent public schools for our community.
CEPS has submitted an amendment to the Santa Monica City Charter -
"The Excellent Public Schools Measure" - to establish excellent
public schools as a municipal affair and to secure increased annual
City funding for our local schools.
